What's Wrong With This Photo? 9/6/19

Fireplug Pic 2.JPG

Look at the photo on the right. What you are looking at is a car parked in a disabled parking space. Out of the picture to the left is a large multi-story hotel style Inn at a state park. What’s wrong? HINT: Hope there is no fire at the Inn.

ANSWER: The fire hydrant. What happens if there is a fire at the Inn and the fire department responds and starts looking for a fire hydrant? Well, that car parked in front of the hydrant won’t be there long. Most fire hydrant parking laws require that you must be parked at least 15 feet away from a fire hydrant. This car is about 5 feet away from the hydrant and between the hydrant and the Inn. Don’t want to end up like the guy below! So whoever thought the disabled parking should be located in front of this hydrant just set the disabled person up for trouble.
