Certificate of Excellence for ADA Accessibility

Cert Pic 3.jpeg

ADA Inspections Nationwide, LLC, (ADAIN) offers the Certificate of Excellence for ADA Accessibility, shown on the right, for buildings and owners/operators that successfully complete a Tier III inspection of the facility by ADAIN. Successful completion of this inspection will make the owner/operator eligible for the Certificate of Excellence suitable for framing for the public to see. Furthermore, ADAIN will note the building and company owner/operator on the ADAIN website for public viewing.

The Tier III inspection is described on the ADAIN website at Tier III. To complete the inspection ADAIN will travel to the site and inspect the facility for compliance with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (2010 Standards). A written report, referred to as a Property Condition Report, will be prepared and sent to the owner/operator soon after the inspection. If there are no significant discrepancies, the Certificate of Excellence will also be forwarded. If there are issues that need attention, the Certificate of Excellence will be forwarded when the issues have been addressed by the owner/operator.

Approximately 25% of all Americans are disabled. That number will probably increase with an aging population. The company and owner/operator that takes the initiative to bring their facilities into compliance with the 2010 Standards can expect this disabled community to prefer their venue over those who chose not to make their facilities accessible. Having your ADA accessibility verified by an independent accessibility inspector will make your facilities standout to the disabled community and possibly lead to higher revenue. Disabled individuals want to live their lives as they see fit. They expect and deserve reasonable accomodations at all public entities. Companies and owners or operators of facilities that make a good solid effort to comply with the 2010 Standards may see a clear positive response from the disabled community as they choose one location that is accessible over another that is not accessible.

Please contact ADAIN at 615-752-0060 to schedule your inspection.
