ADA Inspections Nationwide, LLC, (ADAIN) offers building and facility inspections in Fort Meyers, FL for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Florida Accessibility Code. These ADA inspections reference primarily the 1990 and 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, Title II for State, County, and Local government facilities, Title III for public accommodations and commercial facilities, and the Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction (FACBC).

The FACBC was established by Florida law, Part II, Chapter 553, Florida Statutes, (sections 553.501 - 553.513, Florida Statutes). The US Department of Justice (DOJ) certified that the FACBC is substantially equivalent to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards so compliance with the Code provides presumption of compliance with the ADA Standards.

5) Sales or rental establishments (e.g. , bakeries, grocery stores, hardware stores, shopping centers, strip malls, car dealerships);

6) Service establishments (e.g. , laundromats, dry-cleaners, banks, barber shops, beauty shops, travel services, shoe repair services, funeral parlors, gas stations, fire stations, law enforcement, offices of accountants or lawyers, pharmacies, insurance offices, professional offices of health care providers, clinics, hospitals);

7) Public transportation terminals, depots, or stations;

8) Places of public display or collection (e.g. , museums, libraries, galleries);

9) Places of recreation (e.g. , parks, zoos, amusement parks, beaches, fishing piers);

10) Places of education (e.g. , nursery schools, elementary, secondary, undergraduate, or postgraduate public and private schools);

11) Social service center establishments (e.g. , nursing homes, long-term care, assisted living, day care centers, senior citizen centers, homeless shelters, food banks, adoption agencies); and

12) Places of exercise or recreation (e.g. , gymnasiums, health spas, bowling alleys, golf courses, parks, trails).
