Medical Care and Long-Term Care facilities must comply with the ADA. Covered facilities include hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, psychiatric facilities, detoxification facilities, and medical units in prisons, correction facilities, and detention centers. Long-term Care facilities such as nursing homes, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities are also covered.
